Yes I had exactly the same problem and I went to dealer. They replaced the whole gearbox under warrenty! Just one of the many things that has gone wrong with my a3!

Yep mine is the same, never goes above 3 bars. Another annoying feature about the car. I'm getting seriously hacked off with this car, it's going back into the garage for the third time next week and it's 6 months old. Audi Crap.

Yes I'm very pleased with the car in every other area. As this is my first Audi i still can't get over the build quality! It's mainly Jap cars i've had before and the differenceis huge! It's the Sport model by the way.

I didn't say I wanted a sports car, just something with a little bit of feel! Surely if Ford can do it with Focus's Mondeo's etc then Audi can do it!

Yes I read reviews but just can't believe how little feedback in the steering there is. Even my previous Mazda 6 had loads of feel to tell you what the wheels are doing.

Lowering it wouldn't help steering feedback though would it? As I said the handling is fine!

Is it worthwhile polishing a new car? I got given som Meguires Tech Wax for Xmas! I don't want to do any damage to my new car's paint as in the past I have made a bit of a mess polishing! Thanks
