Is the car set up so that tehse are a straight fit? Or will teh car look like a 4x4 - i'm worried!
Does it need to be lowered?
Advice/Reassurance please chaps
MAY i reccommend these chaps highly. Was up at the weekend to get CC fitted to my TQ and everything was pretty quick and efficient. Took about an hour and a bit and came in with a 10% discount : £247, not bad. Relaxing motorway journeys lie ahead.
Jim Curley at Starperformance for all you...
So i bought my new MAF from Vagparts a few weeks ago and installed it in 5 mins, and it solved my probalem straight away - smooth acceleration.
But now the chug at 2500 rpm has started again - with a ****** brand new MAF installed as well!
Whats going on???!!
This happened to anyone else? Or...
Guys WOAH!

Listen i don't want to go Chavving Up my car with mad exhausts and stuff - i chose the Quattro because it is understated power, If i wanted to go around parading my piece i'd have gone for an S3!
So, should i go down the road of getting it "4 bar map" i could gain...
Obviously a highly covered topic.
I have had my Turbo Quattro since September and the power is thoroughly enjoyable, love the car.
Not that i#m a maniac or anything but if someone has the time could they outline the options i have on chipping/remapping (i'm a novice) my engine to gain more...
As a Turbo Quattro owner i must concur
Its a beautiful machine, throw the wheel hard left or right and put your foot down as far as it will go, the thing stays on the road.

I know there have probably been millions of posts about this on the site before, but having spoken to someone about my TQ's probelm (a BIG stuuter at 2500rpm) i have come to teh conclusion that i need a MAF.
I live in the Glasgow area - does anyone know where i could get one and have it...
Saw another insurance thread there and i wondered what other TQ owners are paying for their insurance. I am 25 and for my 2001Y A3 TQ i am paying £620 a year from Admiral.
Anyone else have a similar motor, and similar age - what are you paying?
where you stay in the deen min - looks like westhill or something.
the interior is spot on, Audi's designers have hit the sweet spot. Massive accelerator pedal! Looks like a BMW type accelerator.
-enjoy, it looks a bit special
