Insurance On New S3. I know its wrong area. See Below

after reading this a few thoughts occur - how can you have 5 yrs NCD when you made a claim on the 2.0T Q already - some insurance comapnies will allow you an extra discount on a second car but you can't take the 5 Yr NCD and just add extra cars - if you are not tha main driver , it is fraud...

    Rusty Discs

disks suffer a lot of heat from braking and any paint applied at day one soon wears off. Most disks these days are not treated to stop rust, as the braking action wears any coating off most of the disk, you can buy special disks with a special coating but you pay a lot more for them.

Well fellas I think the A3 might be going....

Don't have a copy in front of me, but proclaims the GTI as the bets car you can buy, better than a BMW and last para says better than any Audi.

Well fellas I think the A3 might be going....

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] To add to this, in this weeks autocar, the head of VAG group ( ie the boss of audi) says why would you buy an audi over a vw or skoda, it's image only, parts are basically the same. Audi owners just pay more for the privelege. [/ QUOTE ] Have you got the exact text for...

Well fellas I think the A3 might be going....

golf is bigger internally than the A3, much more space. I can see why you would chose A3, but the key reason i couldn't live with the A3 is the ride quality, as a premium car , I'd expect better. It's the same chassis as the GTI, if VW can fit decent suspension then so can Audi.

    CO2 figure

RE a company car for £122 a month, if you didn't have the company car wouldn't you get an allowance from your company to run your own one aswell, have you accounted for that in your £122/month? Normally a car allowance runs into hundred of pounds a month, plus at the end of the tax year if the...

Why buy a new 3.2Q when you could get mine cheaper

I Have to say this is a concern, when you look at how many 3.2's are in the dealer network second hand, and the fact it can be a struggle to sell on.

    A3 2.0TFSI or A3 3.2

[ QUOTE ] Chins said: Seems Audi sent out a few extra 3.2's. Some are 04 spec, but without haggling the sticker on the window says £3k off, so expect about 3.5-4k, might be pre reg though. [/ QUOTE ] to be an 04 spec they will have had to have been sitting around for 6 months plus by now...

    A3 2.0TFSI or A3 3.2

[ QUOTE ] Chins said: Resale - my dealer keeps trying to push the 3.2 down my throat with amazing discounts. He admits the 3.2 is becoming a struggle to shift and is the runt of the litter. Nowhere near as keen to deal on the TFSI. You need a big upfront discount on the 3.2 if you go that...

    A3 2.0TFSI or A3 3.2

Problem is that if u use the extra power of the tuned 2.0T then, fuel economy will drop, possibly below the 3.2, power costs either way. The other issue is the throttle response, a turbo won't react with the same immediacy as a 3.2, whilst it takes a while to spin up to speed. From experience...
