    yes ive not heard mine run but when ive been under doing an oil change on a warm engine i can feel it running. its certainly not like the older s3 pump that was at the top of the engine.

    do you have DSG? there is an inline stat for the oil cooler of you have DSG. if a manual car its just the main stat under the inlet manifold
