I have a 2003 TDi PD 130 which until fairly recently was returning a decent economy of approx 45-50mpg depending on use (when i got it 2 yrs ago it did nearly 60mpg!) However, its not returning 35mpg if i'm lucky - can anyone give me suggestions as to why this might be and what i should be...

Managed to get it out this evening, however with that much grief (and resultant damage to other componants) i dont wish to put the replacement in!!

How do you do this on a TDi, ive removed everything i need to, its all unbolted and i can get it off the splines however it doesnt come out, it gets jammed between the output flange on the flywheel and the casing on the subframe. I've spent 2 hours with a mate levering, jacking, lowering...

I did one of the parts locators earlier, got 8 replies all wanting over £500 for a salvage box (not even a recon box)... Managed to find one on ebay though and got it for £175, my only problem is getting it home to devon from wales!! :D
