    RS6 Turbo's into S4 V8?

Hello, Anyone know of a twin turbo conversion being possible / done for the S4 V8 ? Or alternatively 3rd party turbo's being fitted? Might be cheaper to buy and RS6 instead I suppose? :weight_lift2:

Inlet Air Temp sensor - IAT?

Silly question, but is there one of these on the S4 4.2? If so, anyone know exactly where it is?

    Rear exhaust for B6 S4

Hi guys, Just a quick question to see if any of you know where I can get a pair of rear silencers for my S4 Avant B6 - I am after more noise, but do not really need any more power - Milltek only do a full system and I do not want to spend £700+, maybe £200 tops. Any hints or tips welcomed...

    Any bikers on here?

Just got rid of my Honda 50th Anniversary edition VTR1000 Firestorm, got to be more responsible as twins due in the next month!!! Keeping the S4 though!! Biking is sweet, its everyone else that causes the problems mainly!!

    Parrot 3200??

Got the 3100 fitted as the display is a lot smaller and sits nicely between the middle air vents and the top of my RNSE Sat Nav. Works with my Blackberry and Nokia phone (not at the same time of course!) but is very clear and easy to use and most importantly legal!! £220 for the 3100 fitted was...

    Please advise me! Female!

A wise choice me thinks - a BMW dealer whether main or independant will not know enough about the various complexities of an Audi's history/servicing etc. At that price, especially with cash - as a lot of the posts have pointed out - you should be able to get a lot more for your buck. 1.8T is a...

    mpg? wat yours doing?

I do a round trip 50 miles a day, and get a daily average between 22 and 24Mpg - this is across about 12 miles of M-way, 8 of a roads, 5 B-roads each way. Also depends on the flow of traffic, and pressure of right foot! This is from a standard 4.2 V8 S4 though(!) Anyone in the states - please...

    Which A4?

If your insurance /budget allows it, why not look at a 98/99 2.7 S4 - 265Bhp standard, ability to tune to almost double this, and still return 25Mpg. A slightly different league to the 1.8T. I have owned both in my time, but appreciate that insurance for you will be a bit of a mare...! Just a...

Where and how did you buy your Audi

Bought new from Guildford Audi, mainly cash, a little bit on a 0% credit card paid off in 12 months. Bought my wifes TTR from a contact on ebay, price agreed offline and Sainsbury's loan covered most of it. Just sold the TTR this week for 2.5k less than I paid, nightmare...

MP3 Player on my Symphony -2003 Avant?

Hi there, Is it a Symphony II (with the 6 CD Changer built into the head unit)? If so, the accessory kits on ebay tend not to work; I tried to use an iPOD adaptor with my Symph II and because it already has the CD changer, it will not be fooled into thinking there is another external one...

    Bit Strange - Cheap *** S4

3 yeas ago I sold a Jaguar XK8 on Ebay, and 3 day after the sale, someone claiming to be in scotland had duplicated the listing for about £4k less. Also, the rating of the cheaper seller is 0 - always suspicious. Suggest you don't touch it with a barge pole! Nice spec car though!

    pricing audi TT

Hi, I am selling a very similar TTR as my wife is expecting twins - have been advertising for about 2 months now, and am finally getting some interest at just under £11k. Car has done 70k, but engine was replaced 7k miles ago under warranty due to a dealer **** up with the cambelt not being...

We *may* have a problem with our TTR...

My wife has a 2000/W TT R which did this a few times. I did some investigating with a mechnic mate of mine as it was irregular over a couple of weeks - turns out that the amount of ampage needed to turn the starter motor requires the battery terminal connections to be pretty tight. The positive...

Track day for the New Year...Suggestions??

Recently organised an afternoon session at Palmer in Bedford and was really disappointed with the evnet. In comparison to the original Palmer days they used run in 2000/2001 - the last time I went - the cars were not as niche, the instructors who come in the car with you have too much control...

    Coding for RNS-E with B6 A4

A quick note to thank Marmite for his assistance with coding my RNS-E unit to make it work with the Colour DIS in my S4, and also a link for potential upgraders out there. This info is invaluable when specifying the options you have...

    Would the plane take off?

Physics do not allow the conveyor to stop the plane moving forward. The thrust of the jets is pushing the plane forward, not the wheels. The plane would take off.

    S4 MPG

B6 S4 Avant stock, get 260 - 280 miles on average journeys which are A roads, Motorway, drops a bit when around town or stop start on m/way. Overall average is about 22mpg. Worth it in my view as Grunt is always there, and you cannot beat the sound of a V8!

    RSN-E Questions..

Terry, There are a number of options available for this - but depending on what you are replacing the unit for (i.e. Symphony or RNS-D), the cabling requirement differs - also the year / revision of the car has an impact. I got mine from www*uni-trade*pl via ebay for about £30 as could not...
