    Time to leave!!

True, and this wasanother option, but the interior build quality is typical American, terrible.

    Time to leave!!

Should have been £34.5K at list, but I got a call from the dealers late this afternoon, they have a 3 month old one, exactly the same spec as the one I ordered but with just a few 000 miles on it and I can have that for £26K I think I might save myself the extra and get the used one if it is...

    Time to leave!!

Well the order is placed!!! Ordered a Grey Freelander 2 TD4 HSE, has everything on it and I have also had Zenon lights with adaptive forward lighting and privacy glass. The stereo system is an Alpine set up, Dolby II 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound with 13 speakers and a sub in the boot!!!! Not bad...

    Time to leave!!

I read the same report in What car magazine last week, this is why it looks like FReelander 2 is going be the weapon of choice. I have been a Vauxhall fan for years, and over the last 4 years, have had 2 x Vectra SRi 1.9 CDTi 150's and now a Signum 3.0 CDTi, covered nearly 150,000 miles...

    Time to leave!!

Fair points, but I just don't like the Japanese dash styling. The new Freelander 2 is a different beast to the Freelander 1.

£31K buys you a top spec HSE Freelander 2, but £30 would buy you the entry level Q5 if the reports are true.

    Time to leave!!

A good friend of mine has a 2004 Sportback 2.0T, one of the first, it is a 2.0 TFSi Sport. It now has 113,000 miles on it, and apart from regular servicing/tyres etc. It has been faultless, so I know it is not the same with all A3's. Just ours. I don't think I would buy another Audi yet...

    Time to leave!!

Decided to trade in the A3 today, not sure what we are having but have been fed up with the reliability and build quality of our A3 it has to go!! I am sure we have a bad one but it has left me scared, more so with the dealership than the car, but going into a delaership 13 times in 14 months...

    2.0 tfsi remap ?

I totally understand where your coming from but that comparison does not quite work if you know what I mean. Both cars as we know, both 2wd and 4wd have 197bhp and accelerate to 60mph within 0.1 seconds of each other. The only way to keep the cars performing the same is to alter the gearing...

    2.0 tfsi remap ?

They have a different final drive, the lower the final drive on a car, the faster it will accelerate. Take the Vectra VXR for example, which a friend of mine has done. It runs the F40 6 speed gearbox with a final drive set up for a V6. If you fit the F40 6 Speed from the Vectra 2.0 turbo...

    2.0 tfsi remap ?

The quattro is a lot heavier than 2WD, but Audi change the gear ratios to overcome the extra weight to keep it the same performance as the 2WD, the only reason the quattro is 0.1 second quicker to 62mph, is the initial extra grip from 4wd, 2wd will always have a little less grip off the line in...

    2.0 tfsi remap ?

Interesting, I have 2WD and in very wet weather I sometimes wished I had specced up Quattro. But for how often I drive it in the pouring rain it does not matter so much. After looking into the gear ratios, the 2WD cars have a different final drive than quattro. I have 2WD and 257bhp &...

    Boughts these today!!!

Interesting. After driving today in the downpour we have been having, the T1-R's do offer far more grip than the Continentals fitted by the factory, and thats after only 75 miles on these, so they should get better. They have been designed with wet weather in mind. The last car I had Good year...

    Boughts these today!!!

Got them fitted today, took the car and tyres to my local Vauxhall dealer who I have used for years. They are the only ones I trust to fit tyres!!! Anyway, first thoughts, still very early as you need a few hundred miles for them to properly bed in. I have put a picture up as I persoanally...

    S-line alloys

The reason the A4 wheels are more dished is down to the fact that they are an 8" rim. The A3 'flat' version is 7.5" so to get S-Line wheels you really need to get genuine A3 versions.

    Boughts these today!!!

The T1-R's have been introduced to replace the T1-S's, the T1-S's will no longer be produced within the next 6 months in 225 40 18". There is a new Toyo on sale now called the Toyo Proxy's 4. This is a good tyre but aimed at the show car, this is because it has a very cool tread pattern will...

A3 Milltek 2.0TFSI Exhaust for sale

The large dent in the box will for sure effect things internally, I would imagine there would be some damage. A start price of £250 for this condition is too high. £150 is more the figure it should go for.

    Boughts these today!!!

To keep the rolling radius the same as standard, you need 225 35 19" tyres. These are exactly the same diameter as 225 40 18" Tyres. 235's will slow the car down as the gearing will be altered. Hope this helps.:icon_thumright:
