Well since Dave has decided to throw his toys out his pram and won't be reading any of this i will ask anyone else left reading;
How can someone make the comment "mine is better than yours" when they have not tried or even know any specs about the other product?
Maybe he is ASSUMEING that...
So now you think a S3 with Brembo's has a TOTALLY different chassis and brake set up compared to a A3. There was me thinking you recommending the best road set up for the S3. I am confused
Read the link and make your own mind up people;

Said by the man who arguing about a product that he has not tried!
Who thinks RBF660 is Dot 5.1!
Who thinks £3 a bottle is a lot every year!
Who up until today said the Brembo GT kit with 2 piece discs where available for £800. Now £1500!!
Who is telling you what the best set up for a S3...
1200kg thank you, surprised you could not find that on Google.
Again come back once you have tried Carbotechs.
So is RBF660 Dot 4 or not???
3 pound a bottle as i have found it for 14 pound with out trying......by a long way.....your having a laugh??
So what happened to the friction...
Wrong, i have also tried both in my track 306. Where you have not tried them so how can you comment????
You talk the part i will give you that,
Wrong on both points......good work!!!
First point; there is about a £2 price difference between them both hardly by a long way. 660 will replace...
"<Insert meaningless geeky specs here> " i.e you drive a A3 not a S3 so how do you know what the best set-up is for a car that is about 200kg heavier?
So why are brakes pads with the most bite once up to race temps best suited to the road where most cars will be doing short trips? Tell me...
I read your post as best road brakes;
There for cold bite, noise, dust, and price play a big part.
If your taking track brakes..........Brembos or similar with up rated pads.
Cheers Mike
Cheaper, better cold bite where as most people use there cars on the road, less noise, less brake dust.
Any pad can be made if you can supply a backing plate to Carbotech.
And the RBF660 has a higher dry boiling point than RBF600 or even SRF for that matter.
Cheers Mike
