When I first bought my phantom black S3 about a year ago I had to park it in a narrow road for a few months. Within a few weeks a careless driver had scraped the nearside rear bumper and a little late another scraped the nearside front bumper, both presumably while parking. A few more months...
My S3 went in for its first service last week. I checked the service interval on the DIS when I got it back and all I have a series of horizontal lines, no mileage or date for the next service is displayed.
Is this correct and does it just take time for the DIS to recalculate the numbers, or...
I had the stone problem too. It sounded terrible and we were in the process of moving house so called the RAC as I had no time to deal with it. The solution the RAC chap used was to take the wheelbrace and firmly press on the lower edge of the rear disc cover plate (which projects below the...
I live in the country and I am getting fed up with getting mud on the carpets of my S3.
Does anyone konow of a good source of rubber front footwell mats?
Any suggestions would be much apprectiated.
Just make sure when you buy your SD card that you don't buy the SD HC variety.....I can tell you they do not work. 4Gb works fine, I too have used the Moby Memory cards which are good value and work well (you don't need to buy the 150x version) with very little download time.
I drove both the R32 and the S3 and also the BMW 130i. I enjoyed driving the BMW: very go kart like and the seats and diving position were excellent. Just could not get used to the design or the lower quality of finish.
Tried the Golf GTi next, not enough power for me.
Then tried the R32...
The problem was simple in the end! As BashA3 suggested the card is a SDHC, I bought it without realising there is a difference. Normal SD cards work fine.
Thanks for the help!
I have purchased a Sandisk 4gb SD card for use with the RNS-E data card slots. I have dragged and dropped a number (about 100) of mp3 music files onto the card. When I insert this into the RNS-E I get the message "Loading card....do not remove". After 10/15mins I am still getting this message...

Thanks for all the replies. Well, I finally took the plunge and ordered the DVD satnav. Most of the S3s available through dealers seem to have it and I was worried about resale value in 3 yrs or so when these things will be much more common.
Unfortunately the change has pushed me from Build...
After placing my order for an S3 I am pondering a few options and changes that I can make to the order until I get a confirmed build date.
I did not order sat nav, primarily due to the cost and it seems that Audi are profiteering from this, even at half the cost it would be expensive! However...
