Thanks for the replies folks....Khufu...the car was working the day before no warning signs....got in the car the following morning and it wouldn't turn over and the oil pressure warning light came on.....eventually managed to get the car towed to nearest garage...no PAS meant it was a nightmare...

My 2005 A3 2.0tdi was towed to the garage this morning as it wouldn't start and the oil pressure warning light came on. The end result was the garage says it needs a new turbo which is going to cost about £1500!! ouch Is this the going rate for a new turbo or am i being ripped off? Ps the car...

I read most of the posts and finally went for a Bluefin on my 2005 2.0 TDI A3....why oh why didn't i do it sooner???....it revs like my old S2 Golfgti...happy days plus I get 45+ mpg :-)

I have read most of the threads about SuperChips Bluefin.....and they all seem to confirm that it is a good idea? But there is hardly anyone who confirms that it still a good idea after driving with it for 12 months? Can anyone give me feedback...problems etc? I'm thinking of get my 2.0 TDi...

Woodster - Final couple of questions for you? Do you get full functionality through the Sat Nav...such as touch screen operation and the music tracks displayed on screen so its easy to change tracks when driving? Does the sat nav function work while listening to music? Has the sound quality...

Thanks for the replies - there seems to a device similar to that you have described? Its called a Solisto(?) costing £135. Found the details on another forum reply. It fools the HU into thinking its a CD changer and has a USB port for external storage connection.

I have a Concert 2 stereo in my 2005 A3 and like the idea of connecting an aftermarket Sat Nav unit (eg TomTom or similar) to the stereo. The idea would be to use the Sat Nav unit to play MP3 music files via SD cards through the car stereo. I would like to use my phone hands free via Bluetooth...

I've checked out the website and read other posts and reviews....has anyone actually used the Bluefin yet? Are the improvements really as advertised? Failing that...Has anyone had a Superchips remap done by a garage on A3 2.0 tdi and lived with it long term......Good/bad points?

Not quite an answer to the original question.....but if I press the brake pedal when stationary, it seems very spongy and nearly touches the floor, press it again and the resistance increases dramatically....it this normal? When driving I find quite a lot of slack before the brakes are effective...
