I checked it out tonight, got there abit late thought, just b4 10. The place was packed out with vw golfs and polos
only saw 1 dark s3 parked outside and an rs4 parked inside
There surely must be more audi drivers coming to this VAG night.
I just want to know from the regulars at ace cafe vag...
i get around 120 miles from £20 if im driving sensibly throughout.
But normally its around 100 miles because im always doing driving around town and very rarely do motorway miles.
remap hasnt made too much difference
since i started regurlary using tesco 99 im obviously getting less litres...
i first saw it a few days ago via a link on the topgear website ( http://www.topgear.com/content/news/stories/1680/ ) they actually want the driver or his friend to contact them. probably pay for him to have another go just for jokes!
someone has left a comment on youtube:-
haentz (5 days...
yeah that is a very good point
there are so many galleries it would be great if they were split in to different sections for all the different cars and event pictures.
how about starting some kind of rating score for each gallery. so we know which galleries are definately worth checking out...
i think the general opinion you get from other users will be to get a panel filter.
Although some people might be attracted to the noise a CAI can provide (incl myself) but ive been put off it because ive heard about power losses etc
so the safest option is a panel filter
mine showed it was running 160bhp before the run
and now its running 212bhp
torque is now 225lb/ft compared to 162lb/ft before the run
but jason (at chipped Uk) did say the quattro dont provide 100% accurate dyno readings because of th haldex 4wd set up
another chipped uk fan here!!
definately recommend them if you are not bothered about travelling too far. I was mainly attracted to them because of the price. But the all round package they offered including before and after RR run,. Just really pulled me towards them. Got slightly less power...
thats strange i would have assumed, that a remapped S3 would be alot faster than type r. I know the type r is lighter but a remapped s3 would have over 260bhp+ plus almost twice as much torque. But then ive not driven either, so my opinion is purely based on figures.
Ive seen most places are doing Brembo junior GT kit for about £1000
But is the cheapest way for me to get brembo set up would be to get the discs seperate from ebay (for example)
and get the rest of the parts calipers, cables n pads from seat dealer???
