I’ve got the chance of A6 versions hence why I’m asking. All the A4 versions I’ve found are miles away and delivery costs seem to be rediculous.
I’m getting the A6 one’s tomorrow so I’ll take a chance, I’m sure I can make them work.
I’d rather have S4’s but a bit out of my budget just now.
I’m looking to upgrade my 2.0 tdi to 321mm front brakes.
I know I could get them from another A4 and they would bolt right up but would the 321mm brake set up from a C6 A6 fit directly?
The caliper seems to be the same, has the same number as on A4’s so I’d assume the carrier would be the...
In the end I ended up trading mine in for a brand new Seat Leon. It's quite a bit different to the A4 but it's alot cheaper to run and comes with a 3 year warranty. It's my wife that uses it most of the time anyway so it's ideal for her and its got some decent kit in it.
Audi wern't interested...
Mark, I was really surprised and also very happy with the results that were achieved, I've been meaning to post it up on your Facebook page for you to see but just forgot. Well chuffed:arco:
The fuel economy is actually good aswell, I tend to floor it quite a bit when I drive it because I don't...
I take it your not on about my stock power? Mine made 209 bhp which is bang on, remember 211 refers to PS (whatever that is?) not BHP which is a little less than than the PS figure.
Yeah your stock figure is damn good and your post remap torque figure is very impressive.
One thing about the Revo though is that if your car was running around the manufacturers figures as standard then you would'nt be anywhere near their claims of 305 bhp! It seems that maybe their claims are...
Well I took my car along to a rolling road day on Saturday and I was very pleased with the results to say the least.
Mods are
Shark stage 1 remap
Forge FMIC
Forge DV
Modified airbox
The results were 304.9 bhp and 322.7 ft lbs of torque. I'm over the moon with the results, I was only really...
Get some pics up or have i not spotted them? I just used the original bump stops on mine because the new one's didn't fit. Never had any probelms with it bottoming out on the bump stops though so all good.
I've got Eibach sportlines on mine and they performs very well. The ride is only slightly stiffer than standard and they e dropped my s line around 20mm or so.
Thanks for the comments guys.
Yeah mine just has the sport suspension on it. Eibach quote 45mm front and 35mm rear from standard suspension so that's obviously 25mm front and 15mm rear on the sport suspensionbut I'd say its dropped by the same amount all round, I should have measured it before...
What razza said, not necessary but fills the arches more and gives a better stance. I'll be waiting a bit before getting new spacers for the rear cos I want to get my mk2 golf on the road by the end of the month.
