Just going to be changing my radiator shortly as it is starting to leak along with a new power steering pipe which is ready to leak.
Car is A3 TDi 1997 (manual, no air con)
Some questions:
1. How many litres goes into the coolant system in total? That way I know how many litres of G12...

There are a few different types. Check your old one first for the part no and shape (some are round and others square).
I think I read something on PM from MO-S3 on this a while back.
Also forgot to mention, the major clunking noise was a garage **** up of the tie rod locking nuts not being spannered up tight. They were loose and causing the majority of the play and noise.
Rack adjustment was sorted that eliminated the small noise and play.

Hi, on my 1997 A3 TDi Sport, when parked up, I can move the steering wheel side to side with some clunking sound.
Has the universal joint gone on the column? My tie rod ends have recently been replaced and so that side of things is fine.

Hi, I have been looking at Super Pro bushes for my dog bone mount, so far everyone who tells me about, says the Super Pro ones have been made to a correct grade and not some rock solid plastic mould like other brands.

Surely someone has had something work for a TDi as there are loads of you out there. I think :sos: LOL
I am looking at fitting the dog bone bushes on my TDi A3. However some have told me that the design of aftermarket bushes is so hard that the car vibrates inside?
has anybody else been told this or just a rumour? I really need to know before buying the bushes kit.
