    ecu blocked means that you will have to re match the engine control unit with the immobiliser control unit. if the engine starts, this means that one of your keys has a weak transponder signal making the immobiliser think that an unauthorized key was inserted in the ignition

    I am currently installing this kit on an S4 B6. The kit arrived without fitting instructions. Just wondering if any of you posters here has done this.

    click on the car icon,enter the manufacturer, A for audi, year model, skip the VIN, cause it is only for registered copies with online connections, enter the type, e.g. 4B =A6 , 8E a4, engine code and gearbox code all of these you can find in the VIN sticker.

    Immobiliser woes...

    try to loosen the steering column adjustment lock then move the column thru its end points including the rake.common problem is that the cable for the reader coil gets pinched or jammed,causing high resistance and a corrupted reader coil signal to the immobiliser control unit.audi repair...
