I also had a Astra Mk3. Mine was a 400bhp C20 LET. I had 288mm standard discs with DS2500 pads and it stopped well. Size isnt the issue with the Audi. I need discs and pads all round(wear and tear) and just thinking if there is a cheap...
Discs are vented will have a look later to see caliper and measure disc. and a photo.

One good find yesterday was some new bilsteins and all front arms new.
Got it going. Not sure what it was. Reconnected the plugs 2 off. There is a 3rd bit for a plug on back of cluster but no plug ???? 4pin. Wondering if thats why the multi function display doesnt work?

Had the clocks out today to check all plug in at rear of instrument cluster. Now it wont start. Any suggestions as i need the car to run in a few hours.
Just a flashing key symbol???

Would it not be better to find another set if clocks. I was wanting to get a set with the trip computer and check system. Need to find out what size of torques I need to get the steering wheel airbag cover off.
None there when I was last in. I was at u pull it and there was one there might have to go down and see if its still there. I actually took the clocks out. Next days off might have a wee drive down again.
