We're just gonna have to call it a night a go in tomorrow morning and collect the car. Its pointless now trying. We did call all who we could even the company that made the barrier. But they were also closed. I will not do anything brash just to get the car out. It would cost other peoples time.

Audi probably fitted some wheels off an A4 S-Line to your car. They all run 235s or 245s. I replaced my 225 PZero with 235/40 goodyears. Ride was better / more supple. Done 12k on them now no problems.

Put simply if you like; they are both eurobox hatches that arent real sports cars in the sense of the likes of a purpose built racing car. The money invested trying to make them like that is never really going to work.

They are the same; in that they are not really sports cars and no matter what you buy for them, they will still be flawed. But thats okay to a point, as theyre not bought to be sports cars.

Owned both, Audi is more rigid but principles are same; monocoque chassis' they are not. Opinion is probably more down to badge snobbery.

IF your localish in Surrey? you shouldve gone to Martins Tyres £376 fitted last time I went there. I got GSD3 235/40 instead for £412 fitted. Wanted a bit more width as the ride is crap in the Sline.

I think the 2WD is visibly quicker side by side on a motorway over the quattro. That said with the weather of this country Im thankful of the extra traction.
