Hi All, Reading the fault codes on my car using a snap on diagnostic tool, it comes back with manifold pressure below minimal level intermittent. Anyone have any ideas as to what this means? It's had new MAF, dump valve and N75 but code still appears and it seems a little flat. Thanks...

I had a deal with they guys at GSF and bought the lot for £230. I'll let you all know how it goes.

I am going to buy the full control arms set from e-bay for £200 and fit the lot I think. Checking the car last night it looked like it was the lower rear arm as it had a fair amount of play but if I buy one and it's not that I'll end up doing the lot anyway. Plus at 157,500 miles I expect...

lol! If anyone else has any experience of supply of these arms please let me know. I can fit them myself no problem, just don't want to fit some low quality items that won't last.

The arms are avaliable from GSF for a resonable price, I think the bulljoints also wear so poly bushes aren'r my best option. I'll take a look tonight but nothing obviously worn, guess I'll end up just replacing the lot both sides and be done with it.....got a GSF catalogue here..........full...

This is what I did when I bought my a4 1.8t Sport. Changed the standard alloys for a set of RS4 replicas in an 18 inch. It was a little high after that even with the so call sports suspension, so i popped into GSF and bought a set of their 40mm lowering springs (cost about £65) and bolted...

No you can't, hence why the are different parts for different years, also depends on which engine etc etc, best not to scrimp on handling if you can help it.

Aside from the odd tyre which seems to be going down, when did you check tyre pressures? Remember the hotter the tyre the higher the pressure, unless you have the nitrogen filled! so if you checked them hot the first time and colder the second then you would see a difference in tyre pressures...

Checked my option codes and theres nothing there about a remote key so does that mean it's not possible on my car?

OK swapping the transponder seems easy enough, how do I program the key to lock and unlock? Also can I buy any type of key or do I need one on the correct frequency? If so how do I know what frequency I need? Thanks Damian

English spec car, ex company one owner but I just have a key with a light in it, no remote flick key. Gutted as I've read about the hassle getting a flick key. I opened my key and it has a transponder inside it, could i buy a flick key from e-bay and get it programed to the car then just...
