hi s3syd, on second thoughts your crankcase breather may be partially blocked thus pressurising the sump in turn pressurising the rocker cover making it leak. hope that helps.good luck, barney.

hi problem is now solved! Had an audi technician test drive the car and he diagnosed the tandem pump was faulty. Now replaced and now works fine. I highly recommend Phil from Elite auto repairs in Thornaby Cleveland . Mobile telephone : 07817847416

The problem was a faulty microchip diagnosed using a rolling road and diagnostics.A new one is fitted and all is now ok!!

hi Rev-head, I am at present about to clean the maf and lubricate the maf sensor and contacts. Am waiting for cleaner and dielectric grease coming from Maplin in the post. Halfords no longer stock these.
