I can understand that the new sensor may be a dud and throwing error codes
but can’t understand the old one showing pressures, no error codes but yet no cold air.
No it’s not a genuine one - had tried an eBay special in the hope of a quick fix - would you know part number of genuine latest version one?

Well carista arrived and have done a scan.
With old pressure sensor in I get a reading of 4 bar with air con off and it increases to 6 bar when air con is switched on, but no cold air
When I put new sensor in pressure drops to 1 bar and air con doesn’t stay switched on.
Am even more baffled...
So I have been having issues with my air con - air con button red light comes on but no cold air - system was regassed
recently.
Fitted a new pressure sensor tonight and now air con button light won’t stay on - light only stays on if I hold the button in.
Can anyone advise?

I'm currently driving a 2003 TDI se and would be interested in this mod.
However, my car only has a single exhaust out. What parts would i need to to modify the exhaust to get the twin outs like on McGoughs car?
It looks class by the way mate
Just wondering if anyone has changed the front bushes on their car to the powerflex ones??
I'm gettign a strange knocking noise from the front drivers side everytime i go over the slightest bump - have been told that its the bushes, but how do you identify which one is causing it and how easy...
Well, heres a plea for help to anyone close to me with Vag-com!!
If i was looking for the earth for the light cluster, anyone know where it would be, or how to get at it?
NO, getting them in Halfrauds, so kind of same thing!!
Dont know if Vagcom would show it or not - was thinking it might be something to do with earthing of light cluster but have no clue on how to check it.
Can anyone help me with this,
I have had 4 rear left bulbs blow inside the past 2 weeks, and havent a clue what is wrong!!
Anyone any ideas on why they would keep blowing?
After retrofitting H.I.D.'s to my A4, I'm suffering from this too.
Going to sort it today though by removing lights, taking out all the bulbs and drying the inside of the lights with a hairdryer - hopefully it'll work!!
Well, i got the hid kit fitted - took about 45 mins all in.
The hardest part of the install was drilling the headlight covers, apart from that, all straight forward.
Really pleased with the results too!
Well worthwhile doing.
My HID kit was delivered today - cant wait to get it fitted!!
Up for MOT on Friday afternoon so leaving it til after that in case it causes any problems:(
Looks like it'll be easy enough to fit so hopefully i'll get some pics of it up fitted on saturday afternoon.
Phoned my nearest stealers - prices they gave me for the front lower spoiler and rear lower are as follows -
Front lower spoiler - £325.00 inc VAT
Lower rear - £199.00 plus VAT.
:wtf:
I asked if this was for entire bumpers and guy said, "No, just the lower parts"
" and if you want...
