Yes your right without the spacer the top bearing is sitting on the end of the thread - the only other thing I can think of is to get a slimmer spacer?

For the bubbling rust my car got rejected at Crawley Audi - I took it to Drift Bridge Audi however in Epsom and was all booked in a week later so give them a try!

This is just to buy the dampers (shock absorbers) if you want to buy springs many people including myself opt for the H&R 25mm Springs that DPM sell. The kit you have linked to comes with both shocks and springs however the Bilstein shocks with H&R springs combo is about the best of the bunch...

i find that Collinite 476s wax is superb alot of the guys over at detailingworld swear by it and its only around £15 a pot and lasts ages! Ive found that the only polish that touches the swirls in Audi paint is Menzerna Power Gloss - other polishes take ages to see any worthwhile results!

No not yet im still trying to decide what replacement speakers to buy as soon as I know will post up how it all went!

Im also having a problem with my bose passenger speaker - when you changed your speakers what did you change them to and did you have to modify any of the bose system as i know the bose speakers run at 2Ohms? I am just seeing if I have to replace like for like or if I get some aftermarket...

I found i had to tighten the cable after changing my pads too - its just a 10mm nut that can be found under the ashtray
