My 2007 a3 tdi sportback quattro starts without having to press the clutch pedal. Is that right or not?

As title, when I push the car the revs. don't drop between gearchanges. Also, if I push it and hold a gear the engine carries on after I've backed off. Any ideas?

What size spacers should I get for my a3 tdi sportback quattro. Wheels are 17" and tyre size is 225 - 45 - 17. I plan on lowering it upto -30mm and would like the wheels set just inside the arch. Cheers

I'm going to lower my A3 tdi s line sportback quattro. The problem is I don't know which springs to go for. The options are...Eibach -30mm, Direnza -25mm or Pi -25mm. I think the Eibachs will probably be the better quality but -30mm may be a bit too low. Any thoughts? Cheers folks.
