    For me I'd say that one of the budget kits like those mentioned above are going to be a big step down from the AP in terms of ride and build quality. As also mentioned above, I'd maybe suggest saving for longer and getting another set of the AP or maybe think about one of the springs and shocks...

    The only 'issue' with that set is, if I recall correctly, that the face of the spacer is slightly smaller than the face of the hub on the S3 8Y if that makes sense. They'd still work though. Damian @ DPM Performance

    The B8 dampers are one of the best on the market but by the sounds of it, you're wanting comfort so probably wouldn't be my first choice. Have you thought about the Koni Special Active matched with the Eibach Pro springs? Another good option is the ST springs and shocks kit. Damian @ DPM...

    5mm spacers will just be a flat disc really, you need hubcentric with the locating collars so usually 8mm and above. Damian @ DPM Performance
