I fully agree, 2.0 TFSI is the perfect tradeoff between cost and performance.
Isn´t the 1.5 TFSI engine partially two-cylinder, e.g. the other two cylinders
runs away to lunch or disappears for a smoke break. :friendly wink:
If you have selected S-line and in next step select 19" wheels you will in the next step have two options:
1) Deselect S-line package or
2) Exclude S-line sport chassis
The Facelift A3 comes with the pivot towbar. It is invisible when not used and does not occupy any space on the trunk. I did a retrofit one on my previous A7.

I like both Petrol and Diesel engines and will not start a crusade.
A diesel with automatic transmission is a nice combination in SUV:s and I love it in our MB, but here in Sweden the sale of new diesel cars has dropped dramatically during 2017, and I think the trend will continue.
But for a small care like the A3 a petrol engine that is rev happy and also has...
60 Nm more but at a narrower RPM range compared to the TFSI:s 7 gears (not 6) and 6 hp more. I doubt there is a performance difference. I have also seen tests that indicate that to petrol engine delivers between 200 and 210 hp due to unsuccessful downsizing. :yes:

It is stated for the A3: 95 RON but unleaded petrol RON 91 permitted, but however with loss of power
and for the S3: 98 RON but super unleaded 95 RON authorized, but however with loss of power
Start from standstill on 2:nd gear is not working for me either.
Freewheeling is working as described.
When driving the gear indicator display E4 is i drive on forth gear and when the clutches are open the Display change to only E and the text "Freewheel" is displayed in the instrument cluster...
Good to know about freewheeling (I need to test this):
In models equipped with Audi drive select, the driver can select efficiency mode using the drive select button in the centre console or via the Car menu in the MMI depending on which infotainment systems are fitted (refer to page 58 ff.)...
