Sorry to necro the thread but I'm suffering a similar problem.
Was testing for parasitic draw because my battery kept draining.
Red meter probe in 10A socket on meter and connected to negative battery cable, black meter probe to battery negative post. Meter set to 10A DC.

It's possible there is a dirty contact on the connector of the rear door loom. Spray a bit of contact/switch cleaner and connecting/disconnecting the connector several times to ensure good contact is made.
It's also possible there is a bad ground. Check for continuity to ensure good ground
Audi bulb monitor or cold bulb monitor works by checking the resistance across the bulb element
It does this by sending a small voltage output from J519 to the bulb and then calculates the returning voltage to indicate if the bulb is defective.
If you replace the bulb or switch you must turn...
Sorry for the late reply. Been a very busy day. I was going to say you shouldn't come into any issues as Audi often interchange parts with different characters at the end or even beginning as I found out when diagnosing an airbag fault.
The fault was with the connector on the crash sensor...
