I've got my own tyre pressure gauge, one from Halfords thats came top in one of the autoexpress reviews. So its supposed to be accurate, but I haven't compared it to a calibrated gauge ... hard cornering you say ? that could be it then The wear is much more pronounced on the front passenger...

did a bit more reading, SE has a 16mm rear arb, sport 18mm and S4 22mm. IYO would a 18 or 22mm be of benefit ?
