That is a very good point, NHN. I had a water build-up before right at where you suggested. I'd look first thing in the morning. You'd think I had learnt my lesson, lol
sidibear is correct in that the lights beam have been flickering up and down every now and then. So there was something wrong. I am just amazed it seems to immobilize the whole car.
I've had the R32 for over a year now and it's a really great car. Over here in Hong Kong, things are very different so it's difficult to do a fair comparison.
To give an idea: I paid HK$400k for the new R32 and it was fully equipped with Recaros and all, a very good deal. At the same time...
As titled. In my case it's minimal, just a quarter inch on the dipstick, which someone told me is equivalent to less than a half litre.
But if the amount is a bit more than that, will the excess get burnt off as white smoke out of the exhaust? And will it cause other damages? Many thanks
Thanks CMS.
When I try to pull away briskly, I often have this unintenional wheel spin of one side or the other. Not both.
But when I de-activate the ESP, it seems to work much better, with the wheel spin pretty much under control.
I have a 2.0T CVT. My mate claims it's better to stay in D at the lights as shifting from D to N, and vice versa, would cause more damage to the CVT in the long run. Any comments, anyone?
My 'S-Line' Avant came with the 16" and needless to say, I've found them a bit small. But then they are supposed to be forged items. Wonder how much each weighs?
Does anyone know please?
Just joined. Had my A4 Avant 2.0T for over 7 months now and is quite comfy with it. The room in the back is useful and it's really quite economical to run, about 10L/100km I'd say.
