I've got 10,500 on the clock of my 3.0 TDI (272 BHP) A6 Avant and recently got 54 mpg on a trip to and from Lancaster. This was driving at a steady 70 mph plus 50 mph on the average speed sections on the A6. I also had the air con turned off and made sure heated mirrors etc. also all turned off...

I bought a Nextbase 412GW from Halfords, paid £30.00 for them to install it which included the £20.00 Nextbase hardware kit, so in essence only £10.00 to install!! Bargain Halfords did a top job too with the installation, very neat.

I've got Audi A6 Avant, 3.0 TDI 272 PS, have only had since end December with 2,300 on clock and getting around 500-550 per tank which doesn't seem too bad by comparison!! Great car and love the power of the V6. Have to try to stop myself from putting it in sport mode too often as that guzzles fuel.

Not at all!! When I got home yesterday, my wife and kids all said to me "we thought you were getting a blue car, not a black one!!" It's a very dark blue colour which looks black in some lights. Thanks though and I'll do my best

Thanks. Will let you know how it goes but first impressions having driven 100 miles or so are that it was well worth the wait!! The colour is Moonlight Blue which is superb though looks black in some lights.... Apparently the blue really comes out on a sunny day.

Collected the new car today. Absolute beauty, only drove 90 miles back from Crawley Audi but what a superb comfortable car. Loving the 3.0 TDI!!

Car now in the UK. Handover now scheduled with dealer on the 29/12/16

Hi Odyn, latest is that the car is in the paint shop.... Dealer hopes to take delivery of the car by the end of December, worse case scenario, early January . Good video, quite a transformation!!

I share your frustration. I placed my order with them at the end of July and am still awaiting a build date. My naivety really as I was told delivery date of mid to end November when the order was placed and I took them at their word. Like you I'm hoping to not have to cancel my order though...
