Hi I'm currently looking to replace the front struts on my car. Does anybody know if you can fit the 3.2 v6 struts on a 225 model. There are differences in part numbers:
8N0413031 G (225) vs 8N0413031 AD (v6)
I believe there are some technical differences but I can't be sure. Please if you...
They're not bad too... much better prefer them recaros though. Just wondering on there adjustability. Pretty sure Renaults have nice recaro seats too... gonna have a butchers =)
Maximum respect going out to you my brother... They look ridiculously good... Where are those seats from? Are they heated? And fully adjustable? Look really nice...
Sorry to bring up an old thread but it's relevant to me. Looking at an s3. Doesn't have heated seats, sure i could buy another pair to replace them and retro fit, but... i too was also wondering what else fits in an s3 8l... please has anyone seen anything interesting? Googling for the last half...
Because they have a different geometry from my understanding, and the tie rods go into them from the bottom not the top. You're the forest guy to suggest they have the same hubs.
Update. Still struggling to source s3 parts at the right price. I've been offered Audi tt front struts with hubs at a reasonable price, can anyone confirm whether I can use my existing a3 springs with the Audi tt strut?
My apologies if I am breaking rules using the same title? The holidays are coming (for me at least), and I really want to get some work done on my front end, it's starting to get a little knocky. As the thread title suggests, I'm looking to complete the s3/tt control arm conversion to my car...
Hi Erik is there anyway to pm you or message you directly. I've managed to track down an Audi tt to do a front end swap but I wanted to know more about the steering issue.
Now that you mention it, the last guy fitted an r32 front ARB with poly bushes. I think I'm gonna look for a complete front end and build it off the car. Unless anyone can advise differently?
Are there any threads here detailing this mod? ideally i wanted to just do the control arms and hubs as my car has eibach springs already. I just don't want to be spending twice.
