Sorry to bring this back up, just found this thread. I'm fitting roof bars and wondering if the gorilla clear repair tape would be able to be put on the mounting points to protect the car.

Just checked out the site and for roughly £250 seems pretty good. Are they easy to fit? And do they come with just one map or are they switchable?

How did you find the engine for COD function after remap? Is yours a manual? If so did the clutch hold up with extra torque? What year and mileage has you car done. Mine is a 14 plate with 30k on it and was wondering about mapping.

Clear mounts here and it's brilliant, neat compact and strong magnet phones never coming off accidentally. Great as can spin phone landscape aswell. No issues with electronics.

I download my spotify playlists so they play offline so that's not an issue if signal lost. May try the SD card but I must admit the sound quality seems good over Bluetooth.

Probably not but for the cost thought it was worth it, just put the car into neutral before starting, so not difficult. My new 8v needs the clutch and to be fair I always depress the clutch anyway, just something I read about when I fitted the upgraded clutch.

I had the push clutch to start bypass switch fitted when I had the S3 8p as I had upgraded to the racing clutch and didn't want to wear the thrust washer any more than I had to. I am not sure if one of the bypass switches are available for the 8v model, but I don't think it worked on start stop...
