Does anyone else with a petrol SQ5 think the exhaust sounds and looks a little underwhelming ? I know it's only a V6, but it is supposed to be an 'S' after all.

Thanks. The owner's manual says not to use those because the card might get detached from the caddy, but I don't think that should happen with normal usage, so one to consider.

Just changed to a petrol SQ5 from a B7 S4 and although I miss the sound of the V8 (had a full milltek), the SQ5 is a great car

Nice car - almost the same spec as mine, same colour but different wheels I think. Just mentioning the interior lighting - can you notice it at all during the day (with headlights on) ?

Success at last ! My mechanic, who had previously been using a Snap-on computer to check error codes etc., decided to take it to someone with a VAG machine and that seems to have done the trick. The thinking is the machine performed a software update, but as no printout was produced, there's...

Unfortunately no. The reason I haven't posted an update is, changing the clutch switch didn't do the trick. I am now waiting to hear back from my mechanic on what to try next. so any further suggestions would be welcome. Just to repeat, this only happens when the engine has warmed up a bit...

That sounds slightly different from the problems I mentioned, but could well have the same cause ? I'll certainly let you know if I get it sorted, once the part Rob has identified has been replaced.
