I'm not mad keen on getting the DPF removed, its excess cost I could do without. I was planning on getting Shark to remove/blank off the EGR as part of a re-map so it could be coded out that way. So, will my DPF suffer if I just blank off the EGR?

Hi Chaps, This is just a quick one, can i remove/blank off my EGR valve without having any detremental effect on my DPF? I was thinking if the spent gasses were "all" going out through the exhaust the DPF this would be abnormal and could cause issues further down the line...... Thoughts...

Brake lines for my late pre facelift A3 seem almost impossible to find. I've got a A3 S-line tdi 170 sportback with 312mm front discs and 255mm rears I'm looking for braided items but no companies seem to list them Can anyone let me know if they have succeeded with getting some for this model...

A quick thread hijack but while looking at braided lines for my A3 2008 pre facelift 170 s-line there seems to be no definitive brake line available to buy..... The HEL items are numerous but none that I can see will match my car. I've narrowed down the disc sizes 312mm fronts and 255mm rears...

Hi Chaps, I've got a knock coming from the rear drivers side of the car and i suspect either the ARB bush has worn or the drop links are shot. As previous experience has taught me, doing all of the drop links and ARB bushes in one hit is best. but..... what diameter fron and rear ARB do I have...

Right then, an update 1: Car has bluetooth and it works, all sorted and no need for the cradle, waste of £100 unless you want to charge the phone constantly. 2: Not resolved, still struggling to find a cradle for a iPod Nano 3rd Gen 3: Works too. Thanks for the help so far people!

If looking at a 225 facelift car, where will I find the engine code that states BAM to confirm 225 Is this code the beginning of the engine serial number? if so how many digits and letters followin the code? TIA Paul
