I have since been told the part is the following:
longitudinal acceleration sensor 1j0907651a
sounds fancy - dunno what it does but I'm trying to entice a german chap on EBay to send me one to England for 89 euros - no luck as yet, and to be honest I wouldn't know where to find it on the car...
Hello there.
My S3 is coming up on diagnostics saying that the 'longitudinal' sensor needs replacing. Has anybody ever come across this problem at all and if so could you explain what it does?!
Best of all if there is anyone who provides them cheaper than Audi do could you let me know...
