Smell of Burning or hot oil - A3 3.2 Quattro

lucky me. Turns out that just before I got the car the front brake pads must have been changed (discs need doing soon too so I'll be looking for some grooved or drilled ones) and whoever did it spilt the brake fluid when bleeding the brakes and it had run down the back of the engine. My garage...

Stage 1 remap in the Reading/Henley area

I'm not expecting huge power gains from an NA, but I imagine the drivability may improve. I do feel the power slopes off pretty quick; as it does in most cars out of the factory. I imagine that's a 'safety' thing. Obviously for the average driver it's quite dangerous if you stab your foot at...

Smell of Burning or hot oil - A3 3.2 Quattro

Hi all. Picked up a new (to me) 3.2 Quattro on Saturday. What I didn't notice on the test-drive is after the car has heated up, and had a few high revs, there's a smell of hot or burning oil in the cabin and outside the car. I think when I test drove, the heating must have been on recirc as you...

    Results from vvt remapping 3.2

Totally my thoughts too. I had to do a lot more than just a Remap on my turbo'd car to get a similar power gain.

Stage 1 remap in the Reading/Henley area

As per the title really; I'm looking for a good Audi tuning specialist near Reading and Henley to do a stage one remap on my Audi A3 3.2 Quattro Manual. Can anyone recommend someone they've used?

how to reduce understeer on my 3.2

BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!!! Resurrecting this forum. Just a thought; sorry, I'm new to the forum and picking up an A3 3.2 Quattro this weekend. My friend's RS3 has wider tyres on the front than the back, is this an option on the stock 3.2 rims?

New member looking for an Audi A3 or A4 avant

tiny bit of bubbling on the front wings where they meet the bumper; I've replaced wings before, so will do that if it gets too bad:

New member looking for an Audi A3 or A4 avant

I'm off to test an A3 3.2 manual tonight, anything I should specifically look for? I'll check through the buying guides. It's on 103000 miles. Timing chains have been done apparently

Your car looks sweet. Yeah I'm going to test both. Really the 3.0 a4 avant suits my needs better, but on paper, the 3.2 a3 looks a lot more fun. I wonder how the power difference translates in real world though.

New member looking for an Audi A3 or A4 avant

hello all. Newbie here. I've not had an Audi for a few years now after switching to the BMWdark side. Anyway I'm looking to get an Audi again as our second car. I'm currently looking at either an A3 3.2 Quattro or an A4 Avant 3.0 Quattro. I'm only looking to spend around £4k, slightly less if...
