New rubber needed - but from where...?

Guys & Gals, Can anyone out there recommend a tyre centre in the West Midlands / South Staffordshire Area. It's time for some new rubber and I'd rather go somewhere that's been proven by some other like minded enthusiasts. I don't want to end up with scratched rims and all the bother that...

My exhaust has fallen off...or has it?

I get this a lot on a factory site where I do some consulting work. It only happens in the winter because when it's icy they just throw grit down instead of salt. It's a right royal waste of time. Does ****** all to get rid of the ice, gets stuck in the brakes and them some knob in a...

    new wheels help

Personally I prefer the RS4's for the Audi - smart wheel but sort of understated - the cleaner lines suit the clean lines of the car. The Nuvolari's are a great looking wheel also but a bit 'blingy' for my liking. Just me opinion.......

    Rain sensor wipers

When I had my Vauxhall Vomit the sales brochure explained how they work - but I can't remember! I think I'm right in saying that the sensor sends out a beam, possibly infra-red. In turn it expects so much to be reflected back by the glass. If rain settles on the glass the reflected beam becomes...

Last time I drove a Ka loaner from a Ford dealer the indicators packed up. Still, signalling left wasn't a problem. It was that ****** small inside I just dropped the nearside 'leccy window and stuck my hand out! Made a few people laugh I'm sure.

    Insurance - please help!

Just making the point that GAP is indeed 'insurance insurance'. We never had it years ago, although we had the payout against replacement cost argument. I'd have a small wager that in years to come we'll be insuring our GAP insurance! But hey, carry on. As stated before I work for one of the...
