Update: the superglue and plastic from a drinks bottle shortcut alternative failed - superglue was not the right choice :confusion: A second attempt using Araldite instead looks to be holding well (fingers crossed!)- Terry Smith

Great guide thanks :D. Saved me breaking the glove box and then saved me paying out for a replacement part. Instead of attaching an aluminium plate (which looks the most professional way), I took a slight shortcut and cut two strengthening pieces out of a plastic drinks bottle and super...- Terry Smith
