From what I have read the Audi SE suspension is firmer than the Golf equivalent but is softer than the Golf GT suspension.
Ignoring the cosmetics, I would imagine the Audi on 16 inch wheels with SE would be the most softest setup. It is just a shame this wheel size is not offered in the Sport...
On the Golf 6 with sports suspension and 17" wheels here and I find the ride quite hard over poor roads. Can anyone compare to the Audi SE suspension as a comparison ?
Can anyone advise if the centre armrest can be raised and extended so you can rest your left elbow on it (just like the Golfs)?
If so, how does this impede if at all, access to the MMI controls which reside in front of the armrest?

So I road tested a new Golf VII today and was surprised at the amount of road noise it made at motorway speeds, albeit on 17" wheels.
As I have a preference for the 1.4 150 BHP engine, the only other option...
