Would anyone happen to have part numbers for the hoses or links for silicone replacements? noticed yesterday I was leaking fluid badly over drive and traced it to the front hose on the right (of the cooler?) has...
:blownose: full service & mot £250 lighter in the wallet on the plus side new wipers new drop links and a new gaitor going back in for full timing kit and aux belt in next couple of days :sob:
Use a flat screwdriver and towel so you dont mark bumper lift the end up and pull I broke couple tabs on rear side once all the crap is cleaned underneath I fitted trim tape to make sure it fitted back in place without moving
yeah I removed the grills cleaned them with wire wool to remove ingrained dirt gave a sanding with some fine paper to key the surface wiped them down to clean off any dust then primer few light coats of gloss to build it up then 3 coats of laquer
well switch changed over to a febi and still hee-haw :think: checked the wires that I could and they seem okay checked and changed the bulbs and still nothing any other suggestions?
Got the information I required through facebook so will share this as it has helped me out
my 1.9 has the FEC gearbox and the switch is #25 in the diagram

Asked a million times probably I have found a topic already but it is no good as I still can't see it lol where is the location of the reverse switch on the a4 1.9 tdi 2001 I currently have the car up on axle stands trying to find it..
The other topic I found says its on the n/s then the o/s any...
hey Karl totally agree with the turbo removal to fully clean I opted for this quick fix method as I am looking to replace the turbo when funds allow the audi is more responsive but probably due to removing all the crap that was built up in the egr and intake manifold
the harder stuff that was removed mainly from egr with a small portion from the ends of the manifold. The flap in the egr would not move fully because of the gunk that was sitting in it
well currently waiting on the oven cleaner doing its thing :abnormal: had to drill out the blue bit from a wd40 spray lid (lost the straw) fitted a straw from a juice cup as was slightly bigger and taped the straw to the lid and the straw to the clear tube
I have cleaned the egr and manifold...

Sorted out the engine temperature last weekend that's now spot on :arco: think the turbo needs a good cleaning out now :racer:
