I've not used them myself but do you have to just apply some pressure to squeeze the loops together so they pass through the grill? Then once through they'll "expand" again, securing it in place?

This may be a silly question but will this update only work on cars of a certain year of manufacture? I have a 2010 S3 with the RNS-E system - can I still update it?
