    VagCom Disabling bulb alarm?

The high beam (flashing / dark roads etc) .... I've converted the main (dipped driving) beam to HID and I would like to do the same to the high beam (full / flash). Trouble is when changed to a HID set the High / Full beam will not stay on ... The high beam will come on and then turn off again...

    VagCom Disabling bulb alarm?

Anyone know if it's possible to disable the bulb sensor thingy on a 2002 A4? Im looking at fitting a HID set to my high beam but the car cuts the current to the light as soon as it's turned on and reports a failed bulb. Turning the high beam on and off a few times seems to fix the problem but...

My friend has put some details about the HID kits he is selling on his personal web page [click here] This shows a few of the cars that he has fitted the HIDs to along with a picture of the actual kit. His email address is on the page I think so please contact him if you have any questions.

    A4 head lights

They are not really too difficult to change and there are a number of guides floating round on the forums. Probably take the average person an hour or so with a few tools to change the bulbs ..... much better than getting ripped off by a dealer.

Faulty temperature gauge? .... suggestions please

Recently noticed that the temperature gauge on my A4 sometimes seems to have a mind of it's own ...... 9 times out of 10 it works fine but occasionally will only seem to reach 70 degrees (even after a 100 mile drive) and very occasionally the needle will bounce rapidly between 50 and 90...

    Scuffed Alloys !!

I've recently managed to scuff one of my alloy wheels and was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere decent that could repair it ? The scuff only about 2cm long and is visible from the rim to about 3 or 4 mm into the wheel so it's not that bad but now that I know it's there I can't help but...

    HID Headlight Conversion Query

Forgive me if this is a stupid question and / or it has been asked before but is it possible to change a B6 A4's headlights using a HID conversion kit ? I've seen plenty of kits advertised but don't know of anyone changing the lights on an A4.
