    Missfires

yeah I have scanned it, however nothing shows up on the faults. These missfires only occur when i view measuring blocks 015 and 016. Like i sed, its not always there. However Cylinder 3 missfires occur even when idling , not all the time but it does occur. When it does, i feel the idle go...

    Missfires

Arghh! I've tried nearly everything now! Initially, I replaced the sparkplugs. Using Vag-com I would get the odd missfire at cylinder 3. Then under hard driving, this missfire would occur in the other cylinders too. None of these Missfires are serious, and so the car still does drive...

    Coilpack Wiring Harness

How hard is one of these to replace? I have the AUM engine. Whilst using Vag-Com, checking for missfires, I found cylinder three throwing up a missfire every time the car was pushed. I swapped over coilpacks with no luck. I also replaced all spark plugs but had no luck. I noticed that alot of...

    Noise coming from glovebox

yeah my car is RHD. All you need to remove is the glovebox and then remove the blower motor. To remove the positioning motor, its one 6mm bolt and then the rest of it is clips (one where the motor is attached to the upper flap). If you twist the motor down, it will then come out. if your local i...

    One shot window feature.

put your window fully down, then fully back up again (by holding the button). That should sort it out.

    Cylinder 3 misfire

Argh! My car was driving fine today but then all of a sudden it started jerking, misfiring etc. The engine warning came on. Turning the car off then on, still no luck. Using vag-com, its detected a fault on cylinder 3. (misfire). When going to misfire count, it just goes up, up up and up. The...

    Noise coming from glovebox

the problems come back again. Its to do with the positioning motor for recirculated air operation. This is the flap that is causing the ticking noise at different intervals. If i remove the pollen filter, the flap opens and closes properly, however in both cases, the motor continues to try and...
