This is who I meet the other day.....shes a lovely lady :)
Very friendly and comes accross exactly the same in real life as she is on the TV. Really bubbly.
I've had to change 2 in the past year. Got the first in Halfords (can't remember the code...sorry) and it cost £2.50. Last bulb I got at the dealer for 49p.
Halfords offer a fit-it-while-u-wait service but they don't offer this on the Audi but it is really very simple to do yourself.
Local dealer wanted to charge £30 to change a 49p bulb.
It's easy, took me all of 5 minutes. Instructions in the manual, you have to wiggle the light cluster a little to get in to unclick but it's only 4 screws and bob's your uncle.
I'll have a look around for the F1's as these seem to be getting a good review.
I'm based in Crawley, West Sussex. Can anyone recommend a cheap supplier in this area?
Thanks for the replies so far.
Just completed my first 15k miles and it's time to change the front tyres.
What are peoples views on the standard fit Pirelli Rosso P-Zero's? Stick with them or try something else?
My local Just Tyes are offering them at £124.99 each (225/40/ZR18). Is this a good price or can anyone...
I don't think it is unfair that garages charge for this service, my only concern was that I was to be charged £24 for a job that only took a technically inept numpty 5mins to complete.
If I had been quoted £10 I may have gone for it as I can't really be bothered with getting my hands dirty...
You should never under-estimate the value of goodwill! It often delivers more business than the cost of the original work!
I'm not saying I should have got this for free but £24 is quite steep for a 5 minute job.
The service department told me it was quite a difficult job and that I really...
Having done a quick search on here to find out how to replace a failed brake light bulb I saw Booster got his dealer to fit them free of charge.
So, I called my dealer and said "if I come down can you fit it for me" and they said "yes sir, that will be be £24 to fit plus the price of the bulb...
I had the exact same problem with Elephant who wouldn't insure the optional extras.
I went back to Privilege (who used to insure my old Impreza and always gave me good service) and they noted down all the extras and assured me that they are all covered.
They were even cheaper than Elephant...
I thought it might be a short somewhere so we shall see.
The cars booked in next Friday to have this and the fuel filler cap release problem resolved.
The woman on the service desk had a good laugh anyway, she hadn't heard of a problem with the horn before.
I know, I'm currently working on a project that involves a very close look at the Highway Code, I must have sat about 20 mock theory tests in the last 2 weeks!
More importantly, I drive through South London on the way to work everyday and the last thing I want is people thinking I'm on a...
I know what your thinking but I mean the one on the car
It keeps going off on its own (still talking about the car), happened twice now when taking a right turn.
No, I've not leant on the steering wheel!
Has this happened to anyone else?
A trip to the dealer is on the cards
Spooky, mine started playing up this morning!
The cap won't release so you have to lever it open with a key or finger nail.
Sounds like a common problem. I'll take mine into the dealers over Christmas and see what they have to say.
