I had to replace my cylinder head on the A4 cost me £2500± :(
This was a 2007 170 though.
Do you have a link to where you bought them from? Fancy a set myself.
Vredestein's are awesome and look awesome.
Have you owned the car from new?
Has there ever been a repair or damage on the area affected resulting in a repair beeing made?
I had mine from eBay from a B6 to put on my B7. Keep an eye out mine was £50.
Cylinder head had a crack in it. Ended up being a 2.5k repair bill at Audi.
Have had the exact problem with my 170...I hope to god you don't have the same problem as me. It cost me £££££.
I'd say get the actuator checked to see if the VNT Mec on the turbo is working correctly. Then look at the N75 valve.
Is the rattle only on the right bank of the cylinders?
Honestly one of the best things I have done getting rid of the DPF. No more worry over the fill levels.
Your filter load isn't what I would call bad. The sensors look like they are working as they should and yes it should fluctuate when revving.
Check blocks 70 and 75 on the engine controller in VCDS/VAG-COM and post us the results.
How do these compare to the standard brakes?
It only takes a small amount of water to produce the white smoke as I have just found out. I'd get a compression test done on the coolant system...
The wear rate is minimal from my experience on the Sessanta's.
I have had a very good experience with the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres. For the price they are amazing and wear well.
VREDESTEIN TYRES /...
Did you get a price for it?
Having a look at the fault code list I have found from this site http://www.vaglinks.com/Docs/VW/BentleyPublishers.com_VW_DTC_Table.pdf
If it was...
I removed the cooler and EGR pipes, blanked both intake/exhaust sides up and all the vacuum lines without any mapping to the ECU or faults logged....
Weitecs here. Highly rate them and their customer service.
