Because the pump is different or if I change the engine?
I've sent an email off to diesel bob so hopefully he'll get back to me with a decent price but a local diesel place wanted some serious laughable...
I was under the impression the pump wouldn't need to be coded to anything, just plug n play?
That's the two part numbers. I would get it fixed but it's the mechanical side of mine that's bust rather than the ecu side.

My injector pump is FUBAR'd so I'm on the hunt for another injector pump, now all the part numbers are the same...

I see your point but I found if very difficult to find one online and at any breakers, turns out my mate had one in a garage from a petrol model....
The one I changed it for was second hand, the whole thing was changed. Is it possible that the balance pump was already fubared on the second hand...
This is the old "pump" (or what I thought was the pump) that was removed.
