I probably need to explain why the question. He is looking to change his car now as he realises that the RS4 is not really the car for him. He has been offered a A5 Sportback 2.0T ex demo on a 13 plate as an almost direct swop. That definitely does not sound like a good deal.
Any pointers...
A friend of mine has 12 plate RS4 with only 1400 miles on the clock. What sort of value would this have? I am asking as I do not think that he is being offered a good trade in from an Audi garage. He is looking at an A5 Sportback as a replacement.
Wow, you are so right, that is definitely excessive. Did you get the special 2.0T engine with the hole in the bottom? If mine did anything like that I would be straight back to the dealer, hope they are responding correctly because there is something very wrong with your car.
Rocko, how much is a "hell of a lot of oil"? I have had 2 variations of the 2.0T over 4 years and have gotten used to adding oil between services. Have never considered sending them back, guess that after this long it feels normal.

Loved the one I heard on Chris Moyles this morning.
What is the difference between a kangaroo and a kangaroot?
One is an Australian Marsupial and the other is a Geordie who is stuck in a lift!
I know loads have heard it on the radio this morning, this for...
I must admit I am quite impressed with the mpg I get from my 59 2.0T. 300 - 320 is what I used to get from my 56 A3 2.0T, I find the A5 is good for about 410 per tank based on mixed driving but primarily motorway.
Anyone who has ever had the 2 litre turbo engine know how thirsty on oil they can...
Well it arrived today. Well done to the driver who brought it from Grimsby on the back of his lorry. Not really had a chance to dirve it anywhere as the roads are very slippy. Have probabky put 8 miles on it since it was delivered. Looking forward to lots of good times in the car.
For those who...
Current car is a rather nice A3 sportback 2.0T Quattro Sline special edition so full leather and 18" wheels as standard.
Considered the A4 but not sure I can get one in the spec I want.
The problem is that as I am getting a lease car the budget is not set, its all to do with retained value...
I know the A5 is such a gorgeous car, but seriously u gotta look in the back and there is no room. My twins are now 12 and I gotta think that they will be 15 before the car goes.
