I know this isn't about a A3/S3/RS3 so please bear with me.
My father had the same issue on his 2016 Q2 (same base navsystem) and Audi themself didn't know what to do.
To make a long story short, solution was to have Audi do have a firmware update (no disc or card), connecting the vehicle...
Also have a PFL. (235 all around)
No traction control issues except the first few miles when the oily surface wasn’t rubbed off.
The MPS4S is night and day better.
Excellent in the wet, still safe when it’s starting to get cold outside.
And after surviving many laps around Nürburgring this...
Hi everyone.
Decided to make a road trip around Germany this summer including the Green Hell.
Brakes and tyres already swapped and prepared.
But I’ll also like too do a proper complete brake oil swap, not the way Audi does it by sucking out whats in the canister. (Leaving the old unchanged oil...
Follow up to my previous posts.
Did get the update to 5210 not 5220.
(Reason for that was 5220 seems to only be the gearbox when in a FL car)
No gearbox adaptation was done since they didn’t change any physical parts inside, so according to the Audi ETKA network it shouldn’t be done.
After the...
Could be, are car and gearbox up to temperature before putting load on it?
Or try turning the TC off completely and do a quick takeoff... (only front wheels working?)
Been out today and tried to replicate the video.
At first I didn’t push quickly enough so gave it another one.
Held the camera soft on purpose so you can get a rough idea how quickly and hard the clutch bites.
It doesn’t take much for it to shift into second gear.
But to sum it up: the quicker...
In my PFL when in normal ”Drive mode”, gear 1 and 2 always allow some clutch slipping.
When either pushing or letting go i can easily feel the clutch engage or disengage.
Any higher gear and there is barely any slip feeling at all, but as soon as i let go of the throttle the car always goes into...
To my knowledge the last gearbox update was July (5210), so this new (5220) has to be extremely fresh.
According to my dealer they can’t just update without a reason.
To update they need to request the car SWM-code, and apparently they can’t do that unless the customer have a complain that...
Hi, thank you for your investigation.
Unfortunately i live in Sweden, so that could be a bit of an issue.
Showed you're numbers to my local Audi who still couldn't find anything.
They were offering to take it a step further, but said it could be difficult since the gearbox today "doesn't have...
Thank you for the reply.

Asked my dealer about that PFL gearbox update but they know nothing. (We tried to search for it)
Does anyone have a TPI or any other id number.
Cheers.

Hi.
My father had the same issue on his 8V A3.
You need to remove the boot trim to be able to remove the spoiler.
And you are absolutely correct about the light is actually inside the spoiler.
The only advice i could give you is.
1. Start removing the boot trim. (To reach the screws holding the...
From what I read, it also changes the rpm at which the flaps open/close.
But some say its the same before and after the update and some don’t.
All i know is that i like the car/exhaust as it is right now and doesn’t wanna gamble.
