The longitudinal is behind the glove box on the facelift s3 - you can (just) get to it by removing he side panel but taking the glove box off is a 5 min job and makes access a lot easier.
Both the sensors (long and lat) are the same part number so I'd start by swapping them over and rescanning...
Unless you've got another car to use already you'll have to factor in it's replacement.
Looking at the work you've put into your S3, I can't imagine you'd be happy in a 1K micra so the 10K you'd get will actually be quite a bit less.
Car's (with very few exceptions) always lose value, houses...
How much did you want to spend?
A remap on the pd130 engine should see about 160-170bhp, the biggest improvement is mid range torque.
I did a write up years ago when I had my tdi mapped at SuperChips which might be worth a read. There also used to be a diesel sub forum but I can't seem to find...
I've no doubt there much better to drive than the 8L (or anything based on the Mk4 floorplan for that matter) but they lack the syle of the 8L imo - most of the newer audi range seems to.
With 15K to spare, I'd be in a RS2
I've been looking for a pic of an S3 fitted with the 7 spoke alloys from the 3.2 V6 TT but can't find any - could anyone photoshop these onto a silver S3 for me please?

S3:
Thanks in advance
Mike
As per the title really - just wondered if anyone has put a set of the 3.2 TT wheels on an S3?
I've been through most of the A3/S3 photos thread but didn't spot any. If anyone's got a set on a silver S3 and doesn't mind posting a photo that'd be appreciated.
Thanks
Mike
Hi All,
I had a bit of a close call the other night on the motorway which has got me thinking something's not 100% with my brakes at the moment.
I had to stop very quickly from motorway speeds and when I pressed the pedal it was almost like the brakes had failed somehow. They worked well...
as said - common fault, when mine stuck i kept tapping it (you'll feel like a muppet for ten minutes) but then it released, the mechanism gets a bit sticky and jams up.
give it a good clean out and you should be alright
The 3.2 TT's came with 18's as an option - quite similar to the S4's but they will be a direct fit.
I can't find any pics at the moment but no doubt there will be some in the A3/S3 pics thread.
I went with B8's and eibach's when I replaced mine and I'd agree with tufty - big improvement over the original items and to me the car looks about the same height as it did on the original suspension (it was on 95k by that time though).
It wasn't cheap but I think it was worth it.
Mike
I'd recommend Dean at 4rings (www.4rings.co.uk), they're a mobile outfit based near dartford so not far from you. Very good service and good prices too.
Not necessarily, the faclift occured in mid / late 2000 so it's possible it could be a facelift with that plate (mine is) and it'll more than likely have the AMK engine code
