.....dealer mentioned this a few months back...did some googling and finding some German sites talking about 2018/2019 model. Anyone have anything on this? Love my current 190 tdi SE S-Tronic so much I'm
thinking I might work towards another!
The day all went to plan although I dont know my results yet!
Handover took about an hour with the paperwork and demonstrations. A few nice freebies included a litre of engine oil, a large bottle of emergency Ad Blue and a gift set of USB stick, dust cap covers, etc. Plus two Audi key rings...

Just to add my tuppence worth, while I have a lot of music in my library and sometimes listen to it, I largely listen to the radio as its the best way to keep up to date with new music and be entertained by some very funny DJs. So to me having the ultimate sound system isn't as important as...
Rubber mats supplied in Ireland have a large "A4" in the moulding.....same for the boot protector I think.
They can be bought separately but mine are coming as part of a Protection pack which includes a clear plastic film for the bumper .....below the boot lid, 4 X mud flaps.....and a branded...
Small gripe...actually it's a big one to me because I feel like I've been mugged a little. My last two A3s had central armrests with an adjustable angle. A6 also has this feature. I always had it raised to a horizontal position. On the B9 the arm rest can't be adjusted....it opens but always...
Call from Audi Limerick today...."car has arrived...did I want to come and have a look?"
Not picking it up till Sat 7th May for a few reasons but I did want to have a look and see what I thought of it in the metal. It was straight off the truck so a bit grimy but I could see my wheels and check...

That's it for options... Nothing special as I spent my spare...
Just to clarify, you don't have s/s deactivated....HHD is on, you brake to a standstill on a slope and remove your foot from all pedals......the engine stops, the car stays fixed to the spot without rolling....and a press of the throttle starts the engine again. Neat if that's how it...
HHA was one of the best options I had on my A3 manual and I've speccd it on my new A4 s-tronic....although not sure how it's going to work on an auto with stop/start. On our other car BMW 5 series auto, taking your foot off the brake starts the engine....?
Yes would dearly love Daytona but unfortunately I'm not getting an S Line. Irish spec is different from UK plus Irish roads probably not that suitable for 18s.
Thanks for those insights....the A4 I drove was an SE model with Sports suspension (Ultra model) Agreed that's it's not a magic carpet but it's got a bigger car feel which I like.
