Getting the other halfs Dad's A4 2.0T B7 remapped and i've been told its best to get the diverter valve changed first. Is there a how to guide on here, i've had a search but couldnt find anything.

How do I stop the car displaying 'Service!' every time I start it up? It doesnt need one for another 10,000 miles. It just didnt get the computer stuff done when serviced.

Having read the thread on faulty parking sensors its made me want to fix mine (which also seem to just be a problem in the colder climate). So does anyone know how easy it is to take them off to give them a clean? Do I need to remove the bumber? (I hope not!!)

I'll second Mike @ Motech. I got my 2.0tdi done over a year ago and not one thing has gone wrong and its been through a major service with no problems. My friend also got his 1.8T remapped shortly after me and again, no problems at all.

Hi Dazmo I cant see where it says they will pay up for the current MOT (if needed) and the emails i've been exchanging with Audi have clearly stated the £750 is for next years MOT, so does the letter they sent me. Where are you looking?

Basically my MOT is due and Audi have sent me a letter saying I can put the car through for a MOT for nothing (if there's nothing needed) or I can pay £49.99 to pay for this MOT and then next year I'll be covered up to the value of £750 should anything need doing. Has anyone else done this or...

Guys it really is easy to fit, you just need two ramps and a socket set. I took mine off on the first attempt and then realised I didn't have the brackets so I had to put it all back together until I got the new brackets, that took me about an hour. Once I got the new brackets it took me no more...

I'm putting a RS4 Anti Roll Bar on my B7 and was wondering if the ARB i'm taking off will fit my friends B6 model. I believe the bar i'm taking off is slightly thicker than his. Anyone else tried this?

As far as I can see there is only one battery which I have replaced. Suggested what you said about reprogramming it but nope, still doesnt work. Do I need to get it done at Audi??

The battery has died in one of my key fob's, can i just replace the battery or will it need programming by Audi?

My mate John's had his 1.8T done and the difference is noticeable straight away. MPG stays about the same, sometimes improves things but not massively. We both got remaps through Motech Mike, he'll be lurking around here somewhere but let me know if you want his details.

Just wondering if anyone has purchased a stick on badge for a steering wheel. How does it look as I imagine it sticks out compared to the steering wheels that already have them. Also how much did it cost and where did you purchase it from? Cheers

I believe it will be disconnected but not 100% sure on that as my changer is built into the stereo so no changer in the glove box. To be honest i'd unplug it as I never use mine anymore, whats the point when you have your ipod??

Do an ebay search for this:- AUDI IPOD Adapter link Car kit Interface A3 A4 A6 A8 TT I used them but I emailed direct with an offer of £50 which they agreed, so maybe go in with a lower price. I still used paypal so my payment were secure and they also sent it recorded with a tracking reference.

Cost me about £60 from ebay. You'll have to ask them the question if it will work with yours. It suited mine as mine has the cd changer built in so the port for the multi changer on the back of the unit was free
