Having had both, S-Tronic is the better gearbox, I find the Multitronic quite "lazy", but then most auto boxes are compared to S-Tronic!

Apparently there are no fuses. Dealer had to replace both headlight units.

I have my left Xenon headlight out, so before I go to the dealers, I want to make sure that it's not something simple like a fuse - can I find the fuse listed in the owners manual or inside the fusebox covers? Anyone know if there is one, and where it is? Thanks :)

Well, got it back after gearbox no.3 and it's still the same. Dealer consulted with Audi UK again, who have now said that it's a characteristic of the gearbox! Funny that it co-incides with me passing 60,000. It also makes me wonder why they would have replaced the box twice (first replacement...

Mine does do that - but describing it as "a little thud" would be understating it somewhat! Sometimes it will pull away normally, and other times it's as though launch control is activated - nothing for a half second or so then a big crunch/bang, and it's off like a scalded cat!!

Do what I did and rock up to the dealer with all the stuff you think you'll need to put in the boot. If it only just fits in, it's too small - you can guarantee you've forgotten something!!!! Dealer wasn't too happy about me wanting to try my bike in the back though, even though it was clean!!
