Hi, Im pretty sure it doesn't do a live data mode in diagnostics, you basically plug it in and it runs through each electrical component on the car one at a time but disables it as its doing it, for example whilst its testing the radio you cant use it so if theres a problem with a component on the sunroof it would pick it up, but if its a mechanical issue it wouldn't if you know what I mean?
